The Willow Street Cafe & Bakery began as a single oven and a conviction that the neighborhood deserved better bread. Twenty years later, that conviction hasn't changed — only the loaves have grown more interesting.
We bake everything by hand, before dawn, using stone-milled flour and naturally leavened starters we've tended since day one. Our pastries follow the seasons: cherry and cardamom in summer, pear and hazelnut in autumn. Coffee comes from roasters who share our patience.
This isn't a chain. It's a kitchen on a residential street, and we're proud of that.
